Conclusion

Based on the data above, we see that just over one-fifth of global theme park visitors went to parks in China in 2022. Hence, the data related to Chinese can be taken as a general indication for the target audience, since no other data is available.
According to a separate survey, 70% of Chinese theme park visitors were families, and the majority of overall visitors fell within the 0–35 years age range. This indicates that families and younger individuals make up a substantial share of theme park visitors, highlighting them as a key target audience for this project.

Personas

Or Arazi

Age 34 | Haifa | Israel

Shira is an energetic mom of two young boys (ages 1 and 3) who hasn’t let motherhood stop her from enjoying what she loves—action, adventure, and making meaningful family memories. She values convenience, clear information, and anything that helps her balance her own interests with her children’s needs. She enjoys theme parks but knows that navigating them with young kids can be overwhelming. She looks for tools that can help her plan ahead and adapt in real-time when things change (e.g., baby naps, toddler tantrums).

Long waits in front of attractions

Difficulty identifying child-friendly rides

Hard to navigate with a stroller and find nearby rest areas

Or's needs:

Real-time updates on ride wait times

Theme parks are an exciting world for her, full of wonder and adventure—but they can also be overwhelming. With her baby brother in tow, her parents need help making the day smooth and enjoyable for both children. Noa is sensitive to noise and crowds, and while she loves to explore, she can tire quickly and needs regular rest and snacks.

Requires quick access to nearby restrooms, often on short notice

Ohad Eldad

Age 27| Tel Aviv | Israel

Ohad is a 27-year-old software engineer who works hard and plays even harder. He’s single, social, and always looking for the next exciting experience—especially if it involves speed, heights, or high energy. Theme parks are his favorite type of getaway, and he often visits them with friends as part of a day trip or weekend plan. He’s all about action: thrill rides, roller coasters, night events, and anything with a party vibe. Time is valuable to him, so he wants every moment in the park to count. He uses digital tools to plan, optimize, and share his adventures, and he’s quick to get frustrated by inefficiencies like long waits or lack of real-time info. Ohad also enjoys discovering exclusive experiences—VIP passes, hidden spots, or night shows—and wants to feel like he’s getting the “full experience.”

Ohad's pain points:

Not using his time to the max

Difficult to coordinate and stay connected with friends while navigating the park

Lack of real-time info

Ohad's needs:

Optimized Personalized Itinerary to plan fastest routes and minimal wait time

Group itinerary setup that syncs plans and locations

Real time updates on special attractions and wait times
